These dc surge protectors
from M-Ti are for
your signal, data, cable and telecommunications lines. M-Ti already
has over 3,000 configurations available. What follows here are the most common
ones. Dc data/signal/modem lines are typically the weakest link in most company's power
protection realities.
Signal lines can allow potentially catastrophic surges
to enter into mission-critical systems. If you don't see what you need for
protection on these pages, please call us, as we can most likely help you
from the larger
solutions library, or even help design a custom product for you.

SLT
(Signal Line Treater) Series:
The SLT Series is a
multi-stage hybrid surge protector specifically designed for low voltage and low
to medium frequency applications up to and including category 4 wiring.
Models are available for all EIA protocols, 4 - 20mA current loop
and standard signal applications from 5V dc to 200V dc. Connector interface
choices are modular jack, DB9, 15 and 25 and 3 position terminal block. |

TLT
(Telephone Line Treater) Series: The
TLT Series provides secondary transient voltage surge suppression for (per
UL 497A) Telco line protocols. Units provide protection against
transients that exceed the nominal operating voltage of Dial-Up, DDS,
Dedicated/Leased and T1 lines. |

TLT-SEEX
(Telephone Line Treater) Series: The
TLT SEEX Series provides secondary transient voltage surge suppression
for (per UL 497A) Telco line protocols. These telephony surge
protectors provide protection
against transients that exceed the nominal operating voltage of Dial-Up,
DDS, Dedicated/Leased and T1 lines. The TLT SEEX surge suppressor is designed for
external mounting just after the incoming telephone junction box, in a
weather-proof enclosure. The SEEX includes user selectable switches to
bypass the protection circuit if destroyed. In most cases of a major
surge, the protector will have given up its life while leaving the phone
circuit operable... and it is then desirous to be able to put the phone
circuit back into service and call out to have another surge protection board
ordered and get back on line. |

CLT-SEEX
(Satellite - Cable - CATV) Series: (pdf coming soon):
The
CLT SEEX Series provides secondary transient voltage surge suppression
for satellite, cable and CATV line protocols. These coaxial DC
surge suppressors provide protection
against transients that exceed the nominal operating voltage of standard
CATV lines. The CLT SEEX is designed for
external mounting just after the incoming CATV junction box, in a
weather-proof enclosure. |

DLT
(Data Line Treater) Series: The
DLT Series provides transient voltage surge suppression for all EIA
communication and signal line protocols with data speeds up to 155MHz. These
data line surge suppressors
provide protection against any transient voltages that exceed the
nominal operating voltage and are UL 497B Listed. Each line is
individually protected against surge current impulses. (Left is a 4
jack / port unit, bottom left - a 2 jack / port, and below is a CAT 5 rack-mountable
12 jack / port module). |
