UPs-400Wtb is the ideal UPS for computer or telecommunications equipment in extreme wide temperature -20^o to +60^oC (-4^o to +140^oF) environments where ac power delivery is unreliable and long battery backup times may be necessary. The UPs-400Wtb is suitable where power outages are a regular occurrence, or in areas where utilities need to conduct rolling blackouts.

The UPs-400Wtb protects connected equipment from: power supply failure, erroring, system lockups and re-boots. It contributes to enhanced systems operation, greater reliability, improved repeatability, and extended operating life.

Typical back-up time fully loaded is 8 minutes, but 20 minutes can be obtained when the unit is loaded to 50% of its capacity. Thus, an application requiring 200VA can be provided with 20 minutes of hold-up. The capability of adding extra EXt-400Wtb external battery packs also makes this a very cost-effective choice for enabling nearly unlimited holdup times.

How The UPs-400Wtb Works
The UPs-400WTB continually provides surge protection with a capacitive element, and coordinated MOV surge protection. Upon loss of power, the audible alarm beeps about once a second, as the battery inverter kicks in within 8ms, which means equipment will continue to operate without interruption. 

When the battery level drops until only a few minutes of holdup time remain, the alarm will beep, and the LED will flash more rapidly, alerting of impending shutdown. A DB-9 female connector provides communications capability with monitoring software which can safely save open files and automatically shutdown your systems.
